Communications Firm

What started as an automotive brake shop and garage built in the 1800s became a dynamic first floor design and communications business with a private owners’ residence upstairs. The complexities of residential, commercial, and historic preservation were combined in one extensive transformation. A roll-up garage door was replaced with custom glass doors that pivot and open to the street to welcome one into the industrial aesthetic—original interior brick sealed and painted white, 20-foot ceilings with skylights, and polished concrete floors.
