Watergate Residence

A co-op at a world-famous address was completely remade into a contemporary, modernist residence with a mid-century vibe. Clean white walls with floating reveals, a monochromatic porcelain floor, natural stone finishes, hidden hardware, and a neutral palette accentuate the owners’ art collection. Creative construction to manage the concrete slab ceilings and 50-year-old systems in the building made integrated lighting possible, while sliding glass partitions create flexibility for entertaining in an expansive space or privacy in a study or guest bedroom.
