Capitol Hill Residence
This early 1800s mansion near the Library of Congress, once converted into condos, was reconverted into a single-family home with a grand entertainment space on the entire main level. Custom paneling and coffered ceilings of hand-crafted, locally-sourced pecan meld with new oak floors to create a warm and inviting salon-like open space for the owners’ many receptions, fundraisers, and large dinner parties. A bar area, guest powder room, and private guest suite with its own entrance complete the first floor, while the private residence is on the upper levels of the home.
