I like to tell them that their project with us will be the easiest thing they’ve done in their lives.” Mike follows that promise up with service and quality that CMG DE clients call “phenomenal.” Whether it is building an uber-contemporary glass and steel residence on the water using materials typically seen in commercial applications, or the renovation of an early 1800’s grand ship captain’s home to meet the modern needs of its owners, Mike enjoys being on the cutting edge of creativity while maintaining the highest customer service standards. “He’s terrific,” Michael Paese, a CMG DE client said about Mike. “He’s totally committed to get the job done and he couldn’t be nicer. He’s enormously responsive and never says, ‘I can’t do that.’ Mike takes all the stress out of it.” Growing up in the mountains of Tennessee, Mike made Delaware his home eight years ago. He studied project management and worked in various aspects of construction until CMG found him through connections in Washington, DC. His customer service attitude, coupled with strong construction management skills matched the needs of the CMG DE office, where Mike’s days include building schedules, cost estimating, managing multiple subcontractors and suppliers, quality control, and uploading “tons of photos” to keep all his clients updated on their projects. “Mike goes above and beyond the call of duty,” Ken Sugarman, CMG’s managing principal said. “He oozes genuine warmth and truly cares about our customers. One major source of inspiration surrounds him: the beach.
