Kitchens

Adams Morgan Loft

Two side-by-side apartments were joined by this kitchen, unifying the spaces. The long counter skillfully blends areas that are unique in function—one is for gathering and eating, the other for lounging and enjoying the fireplace. While the kitchen is exposed in the middle of the blended spaces, it feels less like a cooking hub and more like a piece of sculptural furniture.
